Terms and Conditions

The Authentic.fi site is a web service for users (customers) who want to purchase products advertised on the website. Under 18-years-old customers will need a written consent of guardians for placing orders in the web shop. We also ask our customers to provide their billing and contact information for making purchases in the web shop. In using the online service, the customer accepts the terms and conditions of the online service as well as the Security and Registration reports. The web service is subject to the general terms and conditions of online services and the specific terms of the Authentic Finnish web shop described herein. We kindly ask you to review the valid terms and conditions of our web service. We reserve the right to make changes to the terms and conditions of the service.

1. Orders

You can make purchases and place orders through the Authentic.fi web service. You can make purchases by adding products to the shopping cart. You will need to review the content of your shopping cart and confirm your order before completing the payment of your purchase. We need the contact information and delivery address for placing your order in the web shop. You will get a confirmation note after your purchase is completed. This confirmation is a receipt of your order and payment.

Our Security and Registration reports detail the processing and storage of customer data in our web service.

2. Prices and Payment

Authentic Finnish web shop reserves the right to change the prices of its products and the shipping costs. Prices in the web shop include 24% VAT. Non-EU customers are responsible of any additional costs of their orders such as taxes or duty costs.

After you have added products to your shopping cart, you can proceed to checkout and use Stripe’s payment services provided in the web shop. You can choose one of the available payment methods listed. Choosing a payment method transfers you to the banking or credit institution in question. The providers of the online payment services are responsible of the money transfers and of securing your account or credit card information.

3. Shipping

We will ship the purchases to the address provided after your checkout in accordance with our payment terms. You will receive a confirmation note of your order. You can check our delivery methods, times and rates.

We offer our customers fast and reliable shipping internationally. Customers also benefit from very competitive and flat shipping rates throughout the world. The fees only depend on the country and continent of our customer’s billing address. We offer completely free shipping on purchases of 100€ or more in Europe and of 150€ or more in non-European countries.

The web shop delivers products to most countries in the European Economic Area (EEA) and to Australia, New Zealand, Japan, South Korea, China, Russian, USA, and Canada. In case you wish to have our products shipped to other countries, please, contact our customer service – service@authentic.fi.

4. Exchange and Return Policy

Customers have the right to cancel a purchase in accordance to the general terms and conditions of e-commerce services and to the terms and conditions of the Authentic Finnish web shop. We immediately ask you to report of any items damaged or lost during transportation and of delivery of a wrong product by contacting our customer service (service@authentic.fi). You will need to submit a report of an incorrect delivery or a defective item to the service provider within 14 days of receiving the item. In case of receiving a damaged package, you must immediately notice the transport company of any claims. The Authentic Finnish web shop is not responsible for any delays, mistakes or damages caused by the carrier.

In case of canceling a purchase, you will need to submit our Return Form and return the product within the deadline. In order to get a refund, the item must be returned to the address of the Authentic Finnish web shop within 14 days of receiving the item. This policy applies only to unused and merchantable items returned in their original packages. If you wish to exchange an item, you will need to return the item according to the return conditions and place a new order in the web shop.

We will reimburse our customers within 2-5 business days after receiving the original item. We use the payment method of the original purchase. Reimbursement does not include shipping costs. Customer is also responsible of the shipping fees of returning faultless items.

5. Responsibilities

The Authentic.fi web service aims to provide a safe, efficient and fluent user experience for its customers. We continually work for satisfying our customers’ needs and value their feedback in further developing the web service.

The Authentic Finnish web shop, however, is not responsible for any change or loss of data caused by interruptions due to the maintenance activities of the network service, nor any third-party problems, interference, or interruptions in data transfer. The web shop neither assumes any liability for obstacles, errors or interruptions in the web service caused by an overriding reason (force majeure), nor for any damage caused by them or for any other indirect damage.

We apply negotiations in resolving any disputes between the customer and the service provider concerning the Authentic.fi web service. Disputes will be resolved in the Helsinki District Court if disagreements between the parties cannot be resolved in the negotiations.
